About us
MamaCore started in 2014 with buggy workout classes and 1-to-1 personal training sessions.
Over the past 11 years we’ve run pre & post natal, upbeat fitness and strength, and wellbeing sessions in parks, studios, church halls, Nuffield Health and The Gym.
We’re experienced at working with women from pre-pregnancy preparation and strengthening, through their pregnancy, to post natal and beyond: maintaining strength, fitness and wellness for the journey.
And now for 2025 and we are taking our classes to some new indoor venues.

Founder, Trainer, Researcher
13 years ago I had my first bubba and he rocked my world quite literally!
I tried conventional classes to re-strengthen and get my energy levels up, but I couldn’t find anyone who knew about postnatal bodies, so I decided to learn for myself.
I was already working in healthy lifestyles promotion, so studying Personal Training & Nutrition seemed a natural progression.
In 2014 I completed my qualifications and specialised in pre & post natal, strength & conditioning, women’s health, and cardio with running techniques.
I also studied longevity, mindfulness and wellbeing, looking at World Health Organisation studies and other research papers. I have attended courses on everything from managing hormones to using simple visualisations for tiredness and stress.
All of this info continues to inform my classes and 1-to-1 sessions today. Because becoming a mum is rewarding and it’s also tough at times, and by looking after ourselves we can recharge and be strong for the journey.

Business Support
I am a Mother of four, with a career in Admin for TV and Creative Production.
My core belief is that we should look after our bodies, the environment and the differences we can make.
In this photo I’ve just completed the Brighton Half Marathon! I enjoy running and keeping fit and I work out regularly.
It is always so energising to work with Kirsty, bouncing her ideas on fitness and nutrition, motherhood and supporting other local businesses.
“When I first started training I didn’t feel comfortable running at all. Now I run and even sprint for short intervals and I’m alot more confident.”
— Sarah (mum of 6 year old).
“I find I’m engaging my core muscles a lot more in daily life: walking up hills and stairs, aqua aerobics etc… I feel energised after doing the exercises."
- Sandrine (mum of 1 yr old)
